I am talking about my favorite spaghetti sauce. Making spaghetti is one of the easiest meal I know how to make. Just cook the pasta in a boiling water, chops up some vegetables, brown ground beef or turkey and mix the sauce in. Then, add the sauce mixture to the cook spaghetti and you got a meal. And my favorite pasta sauce is Ragu.
I like it because there is no hidden ingredients, and not thick like Prego. The sauce simply soak into the pasta and I can taste the sauce in them. I always buy the traditional plain sauce and I add my fresh ingredients when using it. I can make my own but I rather buy it while I can afford it and worry about making some later when I don't have any money. I like the plain sauce because I don't know what kind of scraps they add with the flavor ones.

The Quicker Picker Upper
I cannot remember how many times I change the brand of paper towels we use. And always disappointed of the outcome. Viva paper towels are soft and nice to the touch. I can also select the size of paper to use but when I used it to drain the bacon fat, the bacon stuck to it. I don't like paper towels stuck in my bacon. Which by the way, you can sign up for newsletter and get a coupon printed for your next Viva paper towel purchase. And if you wanted to make your own baby wipes, I recommend this brand.
I had been using Bounty paper towel for as long as I can remember. No, I don't need to use a paper towel. I can easily buy some kitchen towels and use them instead. However, I like using paper towels. We even use it instead of napkins, and no washing involve. I can say that my second choice is Viva, if in some reason Bounty run out of business (I know they will not). I will definitely switch to Viva. But for now, I will stick to my quickerpickerupper brand. I tried the cheaper competitions, but that's the only thing they can offer, cheap.

Supermarket, Gas & Airline Mileage Points
Did you know that if you have a shopper card in certain grocery stores, you will earn points for gas or airline tickets? I have three grocery stores that I visit often and all of them offers this point system. DH loves the Weis the most because when we accumulate points we can get like $.50 off gas in their gas station. Giant has been doing this for as long as I can remember. However, early on they don't have any gas station where I live. And now, they just open another store that has one. So, my points will never go to waste anymore. Even $.10 will help the never ending hike of gas prices nowadays.
I know the next grocery store that I will mention is only available in the north east, and this is ShopRite. When we went to visit my home country in 2001, we got our plane tickets cost for free. My PIL has plenty of mileage points from his travel when he was still working. And when we got back ShopRite offered mileage points for Continental airlines, which, by the way, the airline we used to go home. We open an account with Continental and found in their website that ShopRite is one of their sponsors. We have not flown since 2001, and we have enough points to fly in continental USA. However, we rather cash it in and use the cash for something valuable.
There are 7 of us, and when we traveled last we were only 4 of us. So, the other 3 don't have any points to redeem for tickets. Whatever points we have is enough for all 7 of us to fly. Please check your local grocery stores about what I mentioned. The economy is not getting better and we as the working citizen of this country have to find ways to be frugal these days.
These are my tips for my readers this week. If you don't have time to fill up the information in the store, you can easily go online and check their website to apply for one. I wish Super-WalMart and Wegmans offer the following. I think I need to check the Continental Airlines website again just to make sure.
Happy weekend everyone. And I would like to thank my followers that keep on growing every time I check it. I love you guys, if I have not followed you yet let me know. I can't find the blog on some of you, please leave a message with you URL, for me to do so.

Water Distiller
This is another great buy for my family. You can't believe how much junk we got rid off from our well water. I will be more scared if we have city water. I can't imagine the chemicals they put in it. The only bad thing is this thing run with electricity, meaning if the electric is off, we can't have clean water.
I can also tell the difference when drinking it. I always feel full, and I think this is good for those who are trying to loss weight. Just make sure you do not store the distilled water in the plastic container. Plastic has more chemicals in them, you can buy the drink chiller in Walmart for less than $3. My youngest son already broke one. I bought 2 the first time I went there, and I just went back and got 2 more just in case someone drops one again.
The distiller is very easy to clean. Just add some vinegar and fill it up with water and let it boil until the bottom is gunkless, it usually takes about 25 minutes. Ours can make 5 gallons a day. However, we only make 3 gallons a day because we don't have a lot of containers to store it. Plus, we use less than 3 gallons a day.
As you all know, distilled water has nothing, just plain water. So, if you store it in plastic, you are only sucking the chemicals in plastic and added to your everyday consumption of water. Water that is bought in store is filled with chemicals. I can't tell you what kind, but I can tell you that they are bad for your health.
Now, I need to learn how to make our own juice that is not pasteurized, like the one we buy in store. If I can only get my kids to drink distilled water and raw milk. They do drink some but not all the time.
