Finally Light @ the End of the Tunnel

With a lot of complaining about the course that my son is taking, I finally got through someone and my son will not continue with the MARK12 Volume III anymore. What a sign of relief!

No more missed spellings, and trying to guess the correct answers, that the computer say correct. He can finally do lessons that is for his age. I don't mind if he is slow in grasping the concept, we can work on that. Not like working on lessons that there is no fixed but fail.

Maybe we should have spelled "pennies" as "pennys" or "penies," yeah, will be working on that one all day to guess which one is correct.

Let me tell you the wrong answers with the lesson 8 for contraction words. It made the spelling of pennies nothing. The contraction of the words "did not" is not "didn't," ok, in what world? Yes, in MARK12 world. Department of Education what are you thinking?

I don't know what they are thinking when they made this course. Maybe to make the student dummer, in my opinion. Did I say it enough, I hated this curriculum, hated it so much. If it works for you, well, that's good. However, not for us. THey need to pay me to use this one.

K12 Mark12 III Reading

My second oldest son have had problem with talking and now reading. He was a late talker and DH and I weren't worried about it at all. Well, if you ask the so called expert, they would say differently.

MARK IIICan someone tell me the correct way to spell "video?"

Anyhow, we been using K12 as most of my reader know (if any...lol) for 3 years now. Most local school district will say that they set their expectation too high, because the lessons are higher than the local public schools. My son above did not passed the state PSSA (DH and I are not worried, we hate the state testings of any kind) and the school put him with Mark III reading (adaptive remediation) for those who got problem with comprehension and grade level behind (in their opinion).

The program is very nice, because he does not need to read much. Everything is recorded and all he have to do is listen. Well, the activities are also computerize and who ever puts the correct answers on those activities are 1) sleeping, 2) does not know how to spell.

MARK III

How about "pennies?"

He is already behind with the lesson because he needed to be tested and it takes a while to get some one to do the testing. Then he still need to wait to get the result, then another wait for the materials. But since this is free curriculum I don't have any choice but to wait.

However, getting the answers wrong for a very simple words because someone put the wrong answers on the lessons is simply prostrating. How do they expect a grade level behind student to get ahead with all of these technical issues? I will give the not reading part 10, but the missing recordings, videos, tiles, windows, wrong spellings...let's say the 10 turned to nothing...nada, zilts, zero. I don't like this program one bit.

MARK III

And "copies?"

In conclusion, I rather educate my child in a regular grade level Language Arts in a slower phase than this crap. Mind you the school is getting extra money for each child with disability, and this is the crap they gave my son. Just because someone need to earn a six figure salary a year.

Juice For My Children

I have been buying Juicy Juice for my children, since I had them. I always try something new every time and my children like the mango flavor the most. I started buying them, and stock up for a week use. More likely seven cans for a week used. Then they stopped selling the flavor.

I think it's been a year since the last time they drink some mango flavored juice. Then on June this year, our Uncle from Florida gave us a lot of mangoes. I tried making juices but my kids did not like it as much, plus I don't have a juicer.

Not too long ago, we went to Giant grocery store and found some there. They are very happy and drank so much, like there is no tomorrow. I do mix it with 50 percent water. However, I think they are using public water with these juices, and I am pretty sure that Fluride is present in them. Our raw milk places are getting worst by the months, and we can't find anyone who uses the Jersey cows anymore.

Having a big land will be very useful right now. We only have a little over an acre, and I am sure my neighbors will hate me if I care for one cow. Even chicken, I am scared because I don't want the township people knocking on my door, and finding more ways to collect money from me.

Nothing is good anymore, unless I harvest it myself. I have to bug DH to let me make an herb garden on the side of the house in spring. At least we can have some home grown spices. FDA and other organizations are out of control, in controlling everything. I did not voted for these organizations to take our unalienable rights, other people did. Sad, but it's true.

Craigslist

Yes, I am a user of this website, because I don't want to pay anything when I am trying to give something for free. I just found out that I cannot list "free" pets under FOR SALE "free" section. If I am looking for something for free that is where I am going to find it.

Anyway, I guess when you wanted to list something free, you need to go to COMMUNITY and the free section there. I have 3 kittens that are free to a good home that being flagged on the other side. It would be nice if they say what was wrong with it, instead you need to make a log in username on their forum and ask there.

Some people also said that when other people listing similar to what you have, those people will flag your ad. What a crummy thing to do in my opinion. I know there are so many people there that will abuse the website, but come on...free kitten getting flag? People have too much time in their hand and too nasty.

KARMA people, you may never knew it, but it's probably the reason why anything is not going your way...KARMA.

And why do we need to pay for good services now a day?

Frontierville Review

I don't really remember how long I was playing this game in facebook. However, I am sure, I joined this game very early on when they were first available to facebook users. It was interesting in the beginning. I like the part when the character gets married and have A kid. Not really sure why they only allow one kid per family. Are they basing this in today's reality?

I started not liking it when they want you to pay the town a large amount of coin. First, I am the settler who claimed the land. Now, someone came in and asked me to pay them? It looks more like our own government, in my opinion. We made them and they took it over and does not listen to the maker or owners anymore. Lands are supposed to be free in the early years, and once you claim it, it's yours. You don't need to pay anyone to keep it.

Moreover, the Inn, chicken coop, and saw mill are too hard to complete the collections. Most of my neighbors haven't gotten the pillow from the Inn. Right now I needed to complete the goal for three coffee cups. One of my neighbors is nice enough to give me some spotted eggs to complete my collection.

The pointer is very hard to control, and sticks too easy on something I don't want to click. And what is the deal with "losing internet connection and needed to refresh" thing. I have lost so much energy doing it, not to mention everything was back to where I started and missing coins and energy when it refreshes.

You can't cut trees without bear using all of your energy trying to scare it away. You can't harvest crops without groundhog doing the same thing, and you can't feed a chicken or goose without fox taking 5 energy out of you. I really don't mind if these wild animals landed on the things I don't need to touch. But it never happens, when you try finishing what you are doing, it takes 2 energy. You might as well scare or kill the damn thing to continue.

You are lucky if your neighbors like to gift, if not you need to buy the materials on your own. Same with farmville, you cannot buy certain items if you don't have enough neighbors. This is another facebook game wasting people time online. Yes, and I am one of them.

Any who, time for me to quit both games because I will start teaching my children again in a week.

Slip 'N Slide

Do they really work? Yes, I found out that if you don't live within the city limit that public water is accessible, forget about buying one. We have a home version pressure tank and this thing did not work the way it supposed to.
Oh, and if you don't have the perfect even ground, it will not work either. I wonder whose perfect world this thing was made for? Not mine for sure. My children only used it until we got our swimming pool cleaned. After that, it's now sitting in my garage and collecting dust.

Feminine Product

Thank goodness for underwear liner, I save a lot when it comes to them. I have been using this as long as I can remember. I started using the cheapest one I can afford and upgrade/downgrade to the image below when I became SAHM. Well, upgrade because this one is extra coverage/ wide. Not like the one I used while I was working, thong size. I had to because I work and deal with a lot of customers, and I don't want them checking out my panty lines.

The only thing bad that I came up with these liners is during the summer months. We don't have a central air in our house and my kids are always outside playing. It gets very hot, and every fold in my body sweats, including the parts where the sun doesn't shine. Unless you are a nudist of course, you don't have that part...lol.

I don't get my monthly visit the same time every month, and this saved me plenty of time to all un-expected feminine things. After having two or more kids, female bladder is not the same. Have you ever gotten an unexpected sneeze? Yes, it happened to me a lot of times. I also carry extra in my bag just for that.

Recommended by me, a mother of 5 children.

Macaroni Salad

I just wanted to phrase the Redner's Market macaroni salad that DH, and I enjoyed. I don't know the exact ingredients, but buy far the most delicious macaroni salad we have eaten. We are not that young, and we have eaten most salad, but nothing is compared to this one.

We don't usually buy prepared food. We were in a picnic and the people who brought it are from Reading PA. I can't recall what type of macaroni salad it was either. So, if you know someone who works there let them know...lol. That is all for today.

Cascade Dish Detergent

Let me start by saying this is the only dishwasher detergent I have used since I started using dishwasher to wash dishes, glasses, and pots & pans. Let me clarify also that if I load my dishwasher the way they are showing it on TV, my dishes will never be clean.

I did not have any problem with this detergent until recently. They change the packaging color to lighter green almost like yellow green. My dishes always have the white dusty stuff on it. I also notice that they have fewer blue grains in them. I have to rinse my dishes with vinegar just to get the same clear and shiny look the dishes used to get before the change.

Cascade Dish DetergentI couldn't take it anymore, and today I bought the gel kind. I don't like it because it smells like bleach. I don't want bleach with my dishes. I might have to go back washing by hands. I still have to add a cup of vinegar during the rinse cycle just to make sure no bleach or white dust in my dishes. This is very annoying.

The box (powder) in the picture is not open yet, because I went to BJ's after I bought the other box. And since I was there, I grabbed everything as a back up. Now, I don't think I can use them again. I have to try another brand (powder) to see how they work. Other scenario is my dishwasher is breaking, well, I hope not because that thing is not very old. It's only been a year and 3 months when we bought it.

Mozilla Firefox

I like it because I can open multiple windows in one setting. I hate it for the reason when it needed updating the scripts on blogs will not show. I used it a lot when I drop EC, and sometimes I am a little scared of updating it because of EC.

EC toolbar adds on did not work for me in the past when I updated Firefox. I have to remove the new version and re-install the old one just to have my EC toolbar to drop from my inbox. And once in a while when my cache gets filled up with visited sites the image below happens.

Having plenty of windows opened, and all of a sudden it shut down. I don't know what is the matter with it. I had to clean my history, cache and run my CCleaner then start all over again.

Don't forget that when I have Firefox open my Window Explorer never works, or it only opens up 5 percent of the time, when I tried using both. Why does Firefox don't want to share one computer? I have to open the Explorer first then Firefox just to use both. Very annoying in my opinion. Am I the only one having this problem?

Addicting Game

I opened an account with FB two weeks ago, and I am hooked. I add all the people requesting to be added, well, most of the female that is. No, I don't have anything against the opposite sex but my DH does. Whomever, male I added it was a mistake, I wasn't looking at their information before accepting it. Anyway, most of my friends had farmville and I am frequently there just to farm. I know, pathetic isn't it?

Here come the review...lol. I hate it when I can't fertilize my own farm, adopt my find farm animals, hatching my own eggs, and not allowing me to make my farm bigger without a certain amount of neighbor. And yet, I am still there level 28 and I have the biggest lot of 24x24 as soon as I reach the coin amount.

I found plenty of people selling books on how to get the best of farmville. How to earn coins, FV cash and to level up faster. Do I really need to buy such a book? I think not, I am doing this for fun, and I like looking at designs people come up with. A brain washing game, that teaches people that they need someone to fertilize their own farm and feed their chickens. When you find a wandering animal that you should give it away. You can't care for your own foals, calves, and eggs. That I can't buy the biggest land, unless I have 30 neighbors.

Anything else I forgot? Maybe, but right now I can't think of anything.

Old World Style

I am talking about my favorite spaghetti sauce. Making spaghetti is one of the easiest meal I know how to make. Just cook the pasta in a boiling water, chops up some vegetables, brown ground beef or turkey and mix the sauce in. Then, add the sauce mixture to the cook spaghetti and you got a meal. And my favorite pasta sauce is Ragu.

Ragu SauceI like it because there is no hidden ingredients, and not thick like Prego. The sauce simply soak into the pasta and I can taste the sauce in them. I always buy the traditional plain sauce and I add my fresh ingredients when using it. I can make my own but I rather buy it while I can afford it and worry about making some later when I don't have any money. I like the plain sauce because I don't know what kind of scraps they add with the flavor ones.

The Quicker Picker Upper

I cannot remember how many times I change the brand of paper towels we use. And always disappointed of the outcome. Viva paper towels are soft and nice to the touch. I can also select the size of paper to use but when I used it to drain the bacon fat, the bacon stuck to it. I don't like paper towels stuck in my bacon. Which by the way, you can sign up for newsletter and get a coupon printed for your next Viva paper towel purchase. And if you wanted to make your own baby wipes, I recommend this brand.

Bounty Paper TowelI had been using Bounty paper towel for as long as I can remember. No, I don't need to use a paper towel. I can easily buy some kitchen towels and use them instead. However, I like using paper towels. We even use it instead of napkins, and no washing involve. I can say that my second choice is Viva, if in some reason Bounty run out of business (I know they will not). I will definitely switch to Viva. But for now, I will stick to my quickerpickerupper brand. I tried the cheaper competitions, but that's the only thing they can offer, cheap.

Supermarket, Gas & Airline Mileage Points

Weis MarketDid you know that if you have a shopper card in certain grocery stores, you will earn points for gas or airline tickets? I have three grocery stores that I visit often and all of them offers this point system. DH loves the Weis the most because when we accumulate points we can get like $.50 off gas in their gas station. Giant has been doing this for as long as I can remember. However, early on they don't have any gas station where I live. And now, they just open another store that has one. So, my points will never go to waste anymore. Even $.10 will help the never ending hike of gas prices nowadays.

Giant Food StoreI know the next grocery store that I will mention is only available in the north east, and this is ShopRite. When we went to visit my home country in 2001, we got our plane tickets cost for free. My PIL has plenty of mileage points from his travel when he was still working. And when we got back ShopRite offered mileage points for Continental airlines, which, by the way, the airline we used to go home. We open an account with Continental and found in their website that ShopRite is one of their sponsors. We have not flown since 2001, and we have enough points to fly in continental USA. However, we rather cash it in and use the cash for something valuable.

ShopRiteThere are 7 of us, and when we traveled last we were only 4 of us. So, the other 3 don't have any points to redeem for tickets. Whatever points we have is enough for all 7 of us to fly. Please check your local grocery stores about what I mentioned. The economy is not getting better and we as the working citizen of this country have to find ways to be frugal these days.

WegmansThese are my tips for my readers this week. If you don't have time to fill up the information in the store, you can easily go online and check their website to apply for one. I wish Super-WalMart and Wegmans offer the following. I think I need to check the Continental Airlines website again just to make sure.

Happy weekend everyone. And I would like to thank my followers that keep on growing every time I check it. I love you guys, if I have not followed you yet let me know. I can't find the blog on some of you, please leave a message with you URL, for me to do so.

Water Distiller

This is another great buy for my family. You can't believe how much junk we got rid off from our well water. I will be more scared if we have city water. I can't imagine the chemicals they put in it. The only bad thing is this thing run with electricity, meaning if the electric is off, we can't have clean water.

I can also tell the difference when drinking it. I always feel full, and I think this is good for those who are trying to loss weight. Just make sure you do not store the distilled water in the plastic container. Plastic has more chemicals in them, you can buy the drink chiller in Walmart for less than $3. My youngest son already broke one. I bought 2 the first time I went there, and I just went back and got 2 more just in case someone drops one again.

Water Distiller
The distiller is very easy to clean. Just add some vinegar and fill it up with water and let it boil until the bottom is gunkless, it usually takes about 25 minutes. Ours can make 5 gallons a day. However, we only make 3 gallons a day because we don't have a lot of containers to store it. Plus, we use less than 3 gallons a day.

As you all know, distilled water has nothing, just plain water. So, if you store it in plastic, you are only sucking the chemicals in plastic and added to your everyday consumption of water. Water that is bought in store is filled with chemicals. I can't tell you what kind, but I can tell you that they are bad for your health.

Now, I need to learn how to make our own juice that is not pasteurized, like the one we buy in store. If I can only get my kids to drink distilled water and raw milk. They do drink some but not all the time.

My Favorite Clothing Store

No, I don't shop there and pay regular price for clothing. I go there to shop when they are having a big sale and I buy different size clothing for my children. Shopping for a bargain at Old Navy is like shopping in K-Mart, Target and others and paying regular price on clothes.

All you have to do is sign up for newsletter, and they will send weekly ads. Just make sure you look at it once in a while to see what they have in the store. Most of the time you can save better when buying online. Not only they offer free shipping on the certain amount, you can save gas also.

Supermodelquin
Right now they are looking for the next "supermodelquin". You could win $100,000, that is a lot of clothing. All you have to do is visit their store, take your picture with one of their "modelquin", and upload your photo online in their website. Make sure you know a lot of people too, because they can help you win. The public will pick the winner, well, if you get a lot of votes from the public you will win.

WALL*E Movie Review

Have I mentioned that we don't have cable anymore, well actually we have a very basic cable TV, and I don't consider that having any at all? No one in my household watch it, except for a very rare occasion. My 3rd grader needed a story to incorporate a story in his LIT 3 lessons, and we needed to borrow the book in the library. While we are there (me and my four young ones), I told them that can borrow one DVD each. I got the Lilo movie for my youngest but turns out that someone put the wrong movie back in the case. My Kindergarten got the Ninja Turtles. My 1st grader got the Haunted Mansion and my 3rd grader got Wall*E. So, we ended up with only 3 movies for the weekend because I don't feel like dragging all four of them to where the movies were.

WALL*EDD likes to set at the very back of my mini van. On our way home, she put in her movie, and they watched part of it and finish when we got inside the house. My 3rd grader was next to play his movie, I don't know exactly who decided about it, but all of them was fine with it. DH friends told him when the movie first came out that he didn't like it because there was not much talking. I was surprised too when I saw that it was made by Disney, and there was a hidden message in it.

I know plenty of people will never pay attention to it, but when you know what I know about a certain government, you will find movies with hidden messages. Anyway, this movie got me crying at the end when WALL*E got a new processor/motherboard, I don't really know what it is. And somehow he does not recognize the other robot.

The part I liked about the whole movie is when the Captain finally stood his ground. That no robot can tell him what to do, I wish people in this planet would stop following the made up laws, statues, etc. and simply follow the common law and the golden rule, instead of following the man made laws. One man in particular mention that in the year 2016, there will be a vast awakening and no one will follow the so called laws of this government. I hope and I pray that he is right.

OxiClean Stain Remover

Did anyone of you tried this stain remover instead of your regular bleach? I grew up with bleach and when adults don't tell you things about them you just keep on using it. My husband is a great help when it comes to natural things. I know this thing is not natural but OxiClean don't have a strong smell like bleach. It does not ruin your clothes like bleach. Bleach eats up your clothes and ruins them.

I also use this to clean my carpet when my children spilled juices and milk. I dissolved some in water and leave it where the stain is for a few minutes, then I rub it off with a rag. With the hard stuff (stuff that dried off) I use a brush.

OxiClean Stain RemoverI only started using this when I met my husband. Like I said he knows, which is bad and good for our health, and I trust his intuition about anything. Anyway, you can visit their site, and you can enter to win a $2,500 in prizes. There you go, you can win a Whirlpool Cabrio Washer and Dryer plus One Year Supply of Laundry Products and Gerber Apparel. I can really use a new washer and dryer right now. Come and join me try winning this stuff. However, if you don't need it don't enter. That give us (people who needs it) more chance of winning...lol. I think it's fair, don't you think so? You can only enter once, you don't have to keep coming back everyday to enter like the other giveaway out there.

Some Updates

DD had her doll for a few weeks now, and she doesn't carry it anywhere that much. It mostly stays in her bedroom right now. Remember when I said that her doll does not say certain words that it supposed to say? Yup, turned out that the hand should be positioned in the certain way, it blows kisses and say "love you" too.

Our
natural toothpaste is almost gone. ODS is using it as mush as he uses the toothpaste with fluoride, and I specifically told him not to use too much. Even with a little in the brush it works as if you put more than enough. Teenagers are very hard to be scold these days. They think they know everything, I can't wait for him to finish college and have to buy his own stuff to use. We'll see how he likes it when he is spending his hard earn money. I can't wait for it.

My cup is working well with me. I am now a pro in using it. You may not know what I am talking about. However, you can read my very first post about the cup, and the first update on how it was doing here.

Household Favorite Laundry Detergent

Ever since I can wash my own clothes, I have been using this brand. Laundry place is not common where I came from and there is none in my parent island. Washing my own clothes by hand (very common back there) made my hands very itchy. I am allergic to it when my hand soaked in it for a long time. I can wash the clothes, but after I'm done and my hands were rested, then the itch comes.

Tide
You can visit the Tide.com and print some coupon before buying yours. There are also other products made by the same company that has contest going on right now. All you have to do is click the special offer tab in their site.

Whenever our local grocery stores have other laundry detergents on sale I would buy one just to see, but nothing beats this one, in my opinion. I used to buy the ones with a scent, but I stopped because that is an extra ingredient added to the ingredients already there. Yes, they came out with a green box before, but I don't bother with those things either. I hate myself enough to buy products from big corporations and using green detergent to pay extra is a big no. I can make my own detergent if I wanted to be green, all I needed is the recipe. Then the government will come in and telling me that I don't have the right to it...lol.

And don't get me started about the global warming crap. IT'S A HOAX people, get over it and smell the reality. Ok, that is out of the way...lol.

Anyway, what is your favorite laundry detergent?

Chou Chou Baby Doll

The children received a nice amount of cash for Christmas and here is what DD bought haft of her money. We got it for $24.99 at Amazon, when you buy a product that is $25 or more you get a free shipping. And since we needed more head set, I got one for the kids and got a free shipping from Amazon.

This doll came in today via UPS. (DH like our UPS delivery man.) DD had been tracking it since it left Arizona last week. I did not ask them to do some lessons today because I woke up late, and I don't like starting with the lessons late. Plus, today it is supposed to be a holiday.
Bye bye Chou Chou1DD has not put this doll down since we took it out of the box. She's been wanting this doll for about 3 years now, and every time we wanted to buy it the stores around us don't have it. This time with her help (suggested to buy it online) we bought it online. However, this one is supposed to blow kisses too, but it's not working.

It does say farewell phrases but no kisses. Maybe we need to open it up and see if there is another button to push for that feature. It is rated 10 by DD and over all she loves it. She pretend to be a mom already. Her future husband would be so proud of her. And hopefully she will find a husband that loves kids as she does. There is always me to help her with it...lol.
Bye bye Chou Chou2
Product Description:

It's time for Chou Chou to go bye bye, but before she goes she wants to say goodbye! When you wave her hand she says random farewell phrases, and if you place her hand to her mouth, she makes a kissing sound! Carrier can be folded up to look like a purse and seat. Measures 17"L x 8.5"W x 4.75"H. Requires three "AA" batteries, included.

The USPS

Yes, the United States Postal Service got DH pretty piss today. He is waiting for a package to arrived today and nothing came. He said it left Harrisburg last night around 11pm. So, he was expecting the package to be here in our house today.

I did not say anything because anything that is run by our government seems does not move really fast. He should know about it because he was born here and he knows how the system works. They move like a hundred year old turtle and I am pretty sure they are getting paid more than $20 a hour.

DH argument was Harrisburg is 8 hours away give or take from us. And the package should be in our post after 12 hours the most. I guess they must stop in every post office and collect mail all the way here...lol. Take 30 minutes break within four hours of working and 2 hours lunch break. And guess what, this job is hard to land on. If you don't know anyone who works there you will never get a job there. The older people who works there who are retiring just pass their position to their kids and relatives.

Am I on the spot or what?

LG enV3

Yes, I got a new one. This is very hard to resist especially when they give to us for free. How can you not upgrade to the newer version. I said that I will not get a new one until my last one is broken, but that one did not last last very long. When DH got his we are also due for renewal and by renewing for another two years, he got two new cell phones for free. The image below is mine and for my ODS is blue. Now my old one is our home cell phone and the old home cell phone is empty and outdated cell phone. It's a waste of materials when no one can use the old cell phones. I know some organizations collect them and do something with it, but I am a little paranoid about it. I rather separate all the pieces and keep what is valuable and disposed the rest.

You can see the features of my new cell phone below. I am not into texting, listening to music, and web browsing with the phone. I like my 21" monitor and big keyboard anytime. However, given another circumstances I would probably use all the features listed below. I like it that I can easily connect this via USB to my PC and drag all the music I love to listen to however, I will never use it because the kids are always with me and I need all of my 6 senses (or more...lol) to tend on them. I also love the cell phones these days, I can easily copy all of my files from the old one to the new one. Before, I have to type all of my contacts now I can easily transfer to each other. And they I mention free cell phone is always nice?

Samsung Alias 2

Every winter when DH does a snow removal his cell phone always gets wet or lost or the combination of both. Meaning lost in the snow and getting wet in the process. I think he always finds it but always does not work the way it used to after getting wet. This year he got another free one along with two new ones for myself and my ODS. He always wanted something that is not easy to break, but he doesn't want to pay too much for it. And most of the time he picks one that I think is for ladies. He likes the features of this phone. He can change the dial tone the way he wants it. He was a little disappointed because his friend sent him a ring-tone, and he can't put it in this new phone, unless he sends it via the internet. That means we have to pay extra just to get it from the old phone to the new one. He also bought a cover for it, and it only lasted a few days. The tab broke and it doesn't attach to the phone anymore. He bought a blue tooth, but somehow it doesn't fit his ear. The hook is too wide and the piece that is supposed to go in the hole of his ear but came short. Poor DH nothing works well for him...lol. Maybe he should just buy the one that he likes (the rugged one) and be done with it. No need to buy blue tooth because he can use it as walked-talkie, and he doesn't need to buy a cover because those things are hard to break.

Other than that he is pretty happy with Samsung Alias 2.

Samsung Alias 2
The new Samsung Alias™ 2 gives you the convenience of a QWERTY keypad in a unique flip–style format. It has the same dual–hinge design that made original Alias a hit, but Alias 2 adds a touch of magic – a Magic Key keypad using e–ink technology. In phone mode, you see a standard phone keypad. In texting mode, however, the keys magically change into a full, four–row QWERTY keypad. But the magic doesn’t stop there. The Alias 2 also has a 2.6" QVGA screen for crisper, clearer viewing, a 2.0 megapixel camera, and dedicated hot keys for one–touch access to some of your most used features like Bluetooth®, text messaging, voicemail, camera, voice commands, games and alarms.
